WHAT IS YIN YOGA ?
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with relaxed postures that are held for 3-5 minutes or more. The sequences of postures are meant to stimulate the channels of the subtle body known as Meridians in Chinese medicine and Nadia in Hathaway yoga. Yin Yoga offers deeper access to the body targeting our connective tissues(Yin Yoga poses apply moderate and positive stress to the ligaments and "fasciae tissue") with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints, (lubricating and protecting our joints) and improving flexibility. It's also a more meditative approach to yoga.
To achieve the optimal result, we suggest following multiple courses per week in the presence of our experienced instructors.
